Position Outline:
You will be responsible for working within a team to provide end-to-end recruitment expertise and guidance to a major project-based business unit within Suncor. This includes building a recruitment plan with the business unit, strategic and proactive sourcing, candidate assessment and management, offer negotiations as well as ongoing evaluation and process improvement.

Key Accountabilities:
Working closely with hiring managers, human resource advisors and others, you will:
- Plan recruiting based on workforce plans.
- Develop sourcing strategies including advertising and external recruitment.
- Coordinate internal and external job postings.
- Coordinate recruiting resources, both external and internal, to seamlessly meet client needs.
- Manage the candidate screening and selection process.
- Manage the interview and offer process.
- Develop and manage multiple talent pipelines for high volume and critical jobs.
- Develop and maintain appropriate metrics and statistics.
- Build strong relationships with potential high-quality candidates to ensure a viable talent pipeline.
- Plan and complete project work as assigned.

Qualifications:
You have a minimum of 5 years of direct recruiting experience in either an agency or corporate environment as well as:
- A University degree with additional related training (i.e. interviewing, negotiations, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional relationship management and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills with a detail orientation.
- Superior proficiency in the use of behavioural based interviewing.
- Experience with recruitment software and SAP is an asset.
- Strong understanding of total compensation and how it relates to the candidate offer negotiation phase.
- Strong negotiating, influencing and selling skills.
- Energetic self-starter with demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
- Effective team player who can coach others and be coached.
