Senior Cinematic Designer Req: 19345

Original BioWare-created IPs include Jade Empire and the critically acclaimed, Mass Effect. Duties
Primary Task:
*Scripting in-game cutscenes using animations and tools provided by the animation and programming departments.
Secondary Tasks:
*Acting as the main line of communication between the designers and animators on a project.
*Work closely with Lead cinematic Artist/Animator for quality assurance on all cutscenes.
*Creating and updating documentation that details the cutscenes in a game.
*Responsible for integration of all cutscenes in a game engine.
Education and Experience
*Two year programming degree or diploma, or equivalent experience is Required.
*3+ years of game development experience would be an Asset.
*In-depth technical knowledge of game engine cinematic tool is Required.
*Experience with working on game toolsets (NWN, Half-Life, Unreal, Quake, etc) is Required.
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge/Personal Suitability
*Strong understanding of film language and the ability to build high-quality cutscenes is Required.
*Excellent communication skills; the ability to liaison between artists and programmers is Required.
*Worked in a production environment, under pressure, to produce high-quality cutscenes is Recommended.

Examples of cinematics built with a game engine tool.
Examples of scripted tools related to game design and cinematics.
Demonstrate the ability to develop storyboards (optional).
