This is a unique opportunity within our Materials and Contracts Group located in Calgary. The successful candidate will play an important role responsible for providing commercial guidance and support to various operating groups involving developing, coordinating and managing corporate contract/agreements as well as preparing, submitting, reviewing, evaluating bids and making recommendations of award prior to preparation of a contract.
Specific Accountabilities
· Aggregating and analyzing enterprise demand for strategic goods and services
· Analyzing and detecting industry market forces and trends in both regional and global markets
· Leading development of contract strategies
· Leading commercial approach to forming contracts
· Leading and/or supporting contract negotiations
· Relationship management and contract management of strategic contracts
· Facilitating and contractor integration with business stakeholders
Candidates should possess related post secondary education plus a minimum of ten (10) years progressively responsible relevant supply chain management (SCM) experience, a good knowledge of the oil and gas industry practices and standards would be an asset, ideally with some Operations, Drilling, Completions and/or Field exposure. Strong communication, analytical, organizational and team skills are required. Must be proficient in word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
