Description of AccountabilityAs a member of Short Range Planning reporting to the Supervisor, Survey, the Surveyor is accountable for providing survey control and services to mine operations. Duties include updating surfaces and providing as-built drawings, volume calculations and reporting and basic maintenance of equipment.Experience and Education Requirements- Technical diploma in Mining or Civil Engineering or a recognized survey qualification.
- Earthworks or surface mining experience, specializing in surveying (Geomatics) is preferred.
- Experience with Minescape and/or Mine Sight, MS Office and Trimble Office would be an asset.
- Eligibility for ASET membership is an asset
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
