Assistant Construction Managers - Reports to Area Construction ManagerThe Assistant Construction Manager is accountable to the Area Site Manager to provide strong and timely leadership to the entire Construction Team.This leadership must enhance Suncor’s viability and profitability through quality, timely and cost effective execution of all Construction Management activities relating to the Project in order to meet Suncor’s strategic goals and health, safety and environmental commitments.Accountabilities include:
• Supports safe, timely and cost effective field construction of all projects assigned in a manner which meets Suncor’s environmental, health, safety and security standards.
• Achievement of construction schedule milestone dates.
• Implementation of Supplier of Choice contracting strategy.
• Regular Lessons Learned reporting.
• Construction Execution Plan.
• Construction Organization Chart and Staffing Plan.• Contracting Strategy.
• Level 4 construction schedules development• Project Quality Plan.
• Labour Relations Plan (included resource loaded schedules by craft and camp man-day forecasts),• Weekly and monthly Stewardship Reports including productivity reports.
