-Develop and own franchise management and product marketing functions for multiple franchises i.e., strategic planning, product launch planning, product positioning, packaging, documentation, advertising, PR, promotions, event marketing, sales support materials, etc.
-Champion soul of the franchise. Provide internal franchise education and create internal passion for franchise tenets and strategy.
-Manage franchise identity and aesthetics as well as ensure consistent integration both in-game and in all marketing.
-Develop and manage franchise/category P&L.
-Assist with long-term franchise/category sku planning.
-Manage product forecasts for new launches and catalog titles.
-Manage implementation of innovative, creative and effective marketing programs within budgetary guidelines revenue and budgetary responsibility.
-Manage internal and external resources including agencies, media, licensees, etc.to implement marketing programs throughout life cycle of products.
-Partner with producers and product development teams to play an instrumental role in product development.
-Drive product-specific market research (including focus groups, phone surveys and web surveys) to support product development team.
-Partner with Sales organization to maximize sell-in and sell-through of all titles. Work with Retail Marketing team to develop and execute effective retail marketing programs.
-Coordinate product launch planning with International partners to ensure consistency and gain economies in worldwide product launches.
-Participate in other projects and activities as assigned.
Requirements:
-5+ years of marketing experience in gaming (preferring those with ownership of top gaming titles), packaged goods, lifestyle marketing and/or entertainment industries.
-Proven track record of understanding gaming market and building strong brands in the industry
-Experience in launching products internationally
-Strong Analytical skills with proven track record of forecasting in Interactive industry.
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Knowledge of game industry (both PC and console) highly desired.
-Game enthusiast highly desired
-Powerful speaking (communication & presentation) skills.
-Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities which are both strategic and cost effective
-Strong team player, able to balance and blend various department needs and views into effective product long term strategy and work with other franchise/issues and managers to complement and support each other's plan's and objectives.
-Ability to handle multiple projects and solidly meet deadlines.
-Motivated, self-started, results-driven.
