As a valued partner to the HR team and the studio, the Human Resources Generalist will work independently to create a high energy, positive and fun candidate and employee experience. Pandemic HR is continually engaged in the employee experience from sourcing to develop and everything in between! Creating a quality of life employment experience will be this roles number one priority! The Generalist will provide full cycle recruitment as well as support programs and initiatives related to key business objectives and the continual improvement of the employee experience. This key position will be involved in for some or all of the following functional areas: rewards and recognition, employee relations, recruitment and separation, performance management, training, benefits administration, compensation and organizational development.
Recruitment Responsibilities:
-Provide full-service support recruitment planning including assisting management in completing job requisitions, creating job descriptions, partnering with immigration, compensation, and relocation specialists and managing job postings.
-Partner with hiring managers and senior management to understand and implement staffing strategies for current and future needs.
-Partner with appropriate HR functional expert to ensure appropriate services are provided to support a great candidate experience.
-Negotiate offers in partnership with hiring managers and senior leadership.
-Research and utilize advanced internet and candidate research methods.
-Design and implement a dynamic high energy on-boarding experience for new hires.
-Conduct new employee orientation and participate in employee communication efforts.
Employee Experience and Retention Responsibilities:
-In partnership HR Director and EAU coordinate employee development programs and training.
-Create employee programs and activities that inspire innovation, teamwork and fun!
-Conduct exit interviews and make recommendations on improving the employee experience.
-Analyze employment and attrition trends and make recommendations to management.
Generalist Responsbilities:
-Provide guidance to, and facilitate successful outcomes for assigned functional areas related to staffing issues & concerns, compensation, benefits, training & development and performance management.
-Coordinate employee transactions / changes related to employment / benefits / leave of absence / worker?s compensation / compensation / termination activities.
-Provide support / solutions in implementing initiatives & resolving HR-related problems.
-Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
-Provide HR support & customer service resolution to management & employees.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience and PHR Certification a plus.
-Minimum of 3- 5 years in a HR, including 2 or more years in high volume recruitment.
-Proven track record of recruiting passive candidate and maintaining a network of potential candidates.
-Prior experience and a general understanding of the fundamentals of staffing, employee relations and total compensation.
-Proactive applicant/candidate sourcing skills a must.
-A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected; ability to apply good judgment and work independently.
-Possess the requisite skills to operate as a strategic business partner, agent of change, & employee advocate.
-Effective human relations, project management, resource coordination, problem solving and resolution required.
-Ability to work collaboratively with a customer service orientation.
-Strong time-management / project management and communication skills; ability to interface with all levels of management.
-Ability to multi-task, exercise sound judgment, prioritize conflicting demands, analyze/problem solve, determine viable solutions and craft recommendations.
-Ability to continuously drive for process improvement.
