Content & Community Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
-Manage and execute content & community programs for Pandemic games.
-Interacts with Online Marketing Manager and others to participate in product strategy development and launch activities.
-Draft integrated communication plans that reflect and support the unique needs and targeted messaging of specified games.
-Execute integrated plans utilizing the broad suite of available communication tools including official sites, email/newsletters, forums, fan sites, file distribution, and Community Leaders to amplify key messages.
-Maintain a vibrant post-ship website featuring franchise content, community-generated content, forum discussions, downloads, and other interactions.
-Measure content performance utilizing key interaction indicators such as web traffic, email registration, game purchase, online play activity, and community forum activity.
-Deliver regular community reports detailing community news, reactions, and expectations.
-Be an expert in relevant gaming categories.
Serve as global franchise community lead; centralized point of contact for territory community managers.
Required:
-1-3 years experience working in online communities, online journalism, online marketing, or equivalent.
-Demonstrated, expert writing skills. Samples will be required.
-Experience with successfully managing multiple projects and working directly with cross-functional teams.
-Experience working with high-profile strategic partners.
-Comprehensive understanding of online community as it relates to delivering business objectives.
Online community expertise from a user standpoint. Online gameplay experience a plus.
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills.
-Good understanding of broader entertainment industry: games, music, and movies, etc.
-Ability to think strategically and effectively present new ideas; creative thinker.
