Reporting to the Manager, Public Affairs, you will support external and internal communication initiatives and develop strategies with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following:
?Assume a lead role in developing and advancing Canadian Natural??s communications strategies; ?Assume a lead role in preparing and editing key Canadian Natural reports and periodic written communications; ?Provide support to Canadian Natural??s government relations initiatives and activities; ?Prepare an internal communications strategy and implement associated initiatives; ?Advising on media relations; ?Review media training requirements and developing initiatives to meet needs; ?Assist in the management of Canadian Natural??s community investment and donations program; and ?Provide planning and support for stakeholder relations events.
Ideally, candidates will hold a degree or diploma in public relations or communications and have demonstrated experience and achievements within a communications or public relations organization or work unit. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to write public relations messages and correspondence as well as and prepare reports in a clear, concise manner. Solid communication skills, the ability to interact with individuals across the organization in addition to research skills are critical to this role.
