PURPOSE:To provide coordination and administrative support for the efficient and productive supply of all P&V services at the Oilsands Site.RESPONSIBILITIES:The responsibilities of the position are set in the context of the five company priorities specifically, People, Risk & HSE Management, Contract/Relationship Retention, Growth and Financial Performance.The responsibilities include but are not limited to:SAFETY* Maintaining a pro-active approach by implementing and promoting HSE awareness in regards to personal well being as well as that of their fellow employees, including the state of his/hers surroundings prior to, whilst working and on completion of all work.* The incumbent will comply with TAMS and client health, safety and environment policy and procedures.* Ensure that all employees in the workplace (including those of Subcontractors) comply with the contract safety requirements and take immediate action against those who do not.* Required and encourage employees to report hazards, unsafe work practices, dangerous occurrences and all injuries, no matter how insignificant they may seem.* Liaise with employee Health and Safety Representatives so that prompt responses are given when safety issues are raised.* Participate in regular safety audits / inspections.* Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace.
Operations Support* Coordination of all P&V services required across the Oilsands Site;* Provide P&V service technical support to TAMS management teams.* To assist in the development and implement supplier agreements for P&V service delivery.* Field management of contract service delivery* Execution of TAMS Management Systems policies and procedures relative to P&V services* Special projects as defined by the Equipment Services Manager* Ensure quality specifications are in accordance with the company and/or Client contract requirements and systemise a quality audit and control system.* Ensure compliance with TAMS and contract specific quality assurance and safety programmesReporting* Assist with preparation of financial budgets as required.* Prepare all supporting information for end of period reconciliations including corporate overhead, shared services, risk/reward profit margin, innovation incentive payment and any managed contractors incentive payment and participate in negotiations/reconciliations with clients as required.* Prepare monthly cost report and financial end of month reports and ad-hoc reporting as required* Prepare forecasts of contractor and third party financial performance in relation to all client KPI score cards.RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT* Establish a strong relationship with all other client and TAMS personnel* Ensure that own actions and those of the work team and or sub contractors working within the business are directed towards a positive customer outcome, by evaluating aspects of safety, punctuality, work quality, presentation, communication and courtesy towards all customers.* Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.* Recommendations through the Better Way system in relation to work practices that could improve quality, increase productivity and reduce costs.* Minimisation of unproductive time in terms of man-hours by ensuring all personnel in their care are fully utilised and processed in relation to timesheets.AUTHORITY:The incumbent has the authority to:* Take any reasonable action which is consistent with the responsibilities of the position subject to any limitations set by the Vice President and Field Support Services Manager or those outlined in Transfield Asset Management Services’ Policies, Procedures or guidelines.ACCOUNTABILITY:* As determined by the Vice President TAMS and Field Support Services Manager.KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:* Reports directly to the Equipment Services Manager.* Suncor Cross Functional Teams

* Service providersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Formal Education* Insert formal education level required in order to qualify for this position - High School, College or University degree, Journeyman’s ticket, etc.Professional Designation* Insert any mandatory professional designations necessary for the job (e.g. must be a Professional Engineer registered in the Province of Alberta), also any preferred designations/memberships (e.g. Certified Management Accountant, etc.).EXPERIENCE* Suitable maintenance support equipment service delivery and management experience
* A minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance support role
* A demonstrable track record in successful maintenance support coordination
* An ability to liaise at all levels with internal and external customersSPECIAL CONDITIONS:* Comprehensive knowledge of P&V practice and legislation.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills,* Team player to deliver desired outcomes.
