Expansion and opportunity are words you hear often at Suncor.Our growth = significant career opportunity for youPosition Outline:Reporting to the Maintenance Execution Superintendant , this position is accountable for the safe, efficient, and productive maintenance of the department’s assets in coordinating the day-to-day maintenance activities with operations, maintenance supervision, and maintenance scheduler.Key Accountabilities:The Upgrading Maintenance Coordinator will be required to do the planning and scheduling for approved break-in and scope creep work as well as to enter notifications (work requests) using SAP.Other tasks include:
- Ensuring that high standards of workmanship and productivity are maintained
- Relevant codes, standards, and specifications are adhered to
- Safety Procedures and requirements are stringently enforcedThis individual will be required to interface with operations, contractors and various support groups.Qualification Requirements:The successful candidate will have:
- A journeyman mechanic certification or mechanical engineering diploma with extensive related experience
- 5 to 10 years applicable experience in a maintenance environment with mobile equipment
- Excellent communication, supervisory, analytical and organizational skills
