This position is located in our Fort St John Field
We currently have an opportunity for a Plant Process Operator working in our Fort St. John area; which would require residency in the Fort St John area.
A 2nd class Power Engineering Certificate is required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in oilfield operations, along with a thorough knowledge of gas plant processes such as compression, dehydration and sweetening. In addition, the candidate must have a valid Class 5 driver??s license. You have certification in First Aid, WHMIS, TDG and H2S and are willing to work compressed work weeks. Solid computer skills are necessary. Strong communication, organizational and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic are required. You are highly motivated, self managed and get things done right the first time.
Reporting to the area Foreman, the responsibilities of the Plant Operators include, but are not limited to, the following: ?Work 12 hour shift which includes day/night rotation; ?Start up and shut down of all plant equipment without supervision; ?Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing; and ?Optimize plant capacity in a safe and efficient manner.
