Grande Cache Coal Corporation
Grande Cache Coal Corporation (GCCC) is a sustainable, long-term mining operation that produces premium, low volatile, metallurgical coking coal for export to the world steel industry. The mine site is 20 kilometres north of the Town of Grande Cache (www.grandecache.ca), a community of nearly 5000 located within the inner foothills of the Rocky Mountains in west-central Alberta. GCCC is seeking experienced, motivated and safety-committed workers for permanent, full-time positions at the mine site. GCCC offers a competitive compensation and benefit package including relocation assistance.
Electricians
Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, we have opportunities in our underground mine, surface mine and plant operations. Electricians are responsible for the maintenance of systems and components that are integral to the operations. Duties will include: maintenance, alteration, repair and testing of electrical and electronic systems and components.
You will have a valid Inter-provincial electrical trade qualification with an understanding of distributed control systems, programmable logic controls and microprocessors. Industrial maintenance experience is a requisite, preferably in mining or a similar environment. Underground experience is an asset for positions within our underground operations.
