Required Education:

Ø Senior Matriculation Related or Technical School Graduate

Preferred Experience:

Ø 5 + year AutoCAD Experience or Training

Ø Electrical drafting/design experience

Ø Good working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code

Ø Preferably, Electrical Journeyman Ticked holder with 2-5 years of industrial work experience.

Job Purpose:

Ø Provide assistance to Project Lead Engineer or Senior Designer as required in detailed design

General Duties, Responsibilities, & Critical Outcomes:

Ø Layouts of electrical equipment, lighting, grounding and bonding and raceways design

Ø Control schematics

Ø Calculations for tray fill, voltage drop, lighting, EHT, etc

Ø Provide guidance to drafting personnel as required on the specific project
