EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Senior Environmental Project Manager in our Environmental Practice at our Yellowknife, NT office. The Environmental Practice provides services in the fields of environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, biophysical inventories and regulatory approvals, for numerous clients, including Federal Departments and mining companies.
Your role will involve networking with an experienced team in the provision of excellent client services on diverse projects in the environmental field. A requirement of this position will be a desire to develop and lead environmental management and impact assessment projects in one or more of EBA's strategic markets (environmental, engineering and transportation). You will provide a good balance of hands-on technical specialist leadership and mentorship/development of junior staff.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- M.Sc. preferred in an environmental discipline and have attained professional status in your field.
- Some background or familiarity with work/culture in northern Canada
- A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience or relevant practical experience.
- Extensive knowledge of site assessment/remediation or natural resource management along with environmental regulatory requirements and processes.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills to enable you to develop business in one or more of EBA's strategic markets (environmental, engineering and transportation).
- Self-motivated, team-oriented leader with a commitment to technical excellence.
