EBA is currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to support our growing Mining Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing surface mining engineering projects with a primary project focus on pit slopes, waste dump and tailings embankment stability investigations, though supplemental experience with other surface geotechnical infrastructure and facility foundations will be useful. The candidate will manage, design, implement and oversee engineering studies (preliminary assessments, preliminary feasibility studies and feasibility studies), property assessments and technical reports. In addition to managing projects and providing technical direction to project engineers, the individual will be expected to work with other senior management in a business development and marketing role. While the primary focus will be on mining projects, opportunities exist to work with both the Environmental and Geotechnical Groups within our office.

Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Mining Engineering
Eight years or more of industry or consulting engineering experience
The ability to establish and maintain solid client relationships
Must be or eligible to register as a professional engineer or geoscientist in the Province of British Columbia
