POSITION DESCRIPTION
Hatch is currently seeking motivated individuals for structural engineering positions in their Civil/Structural/Architectural Group. The position will allow candidates to directly apply and develop their knowledge in structural steel and concrete design for heavy industrial structures. In addition to theoretical design and analytical work, candidates will gain valuable on-site practical experience. As time progresses, project duties and responsibilities will increase facilitating registration of the candidate as a professional engineer.
The positions offered are in Mississauga, Ontario, and there will be opportunities for travel and work assignments in Canadian and international site locations. Newly hired engineers will be assigned to work closely with experienced engineers who will provide guidance and mentoring, and after an initial period of training, the opportunity exists to specialize in a particular technical area, move into project engineering/management, and/or transfer to another Hatch office.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates who have excelled in their studies at the undergraduate or graduate level in the discipline of structural engineering are sought. In addition to demonstrating strong academic performance, candidates require good communication and computer skills, an aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams, and a commitment to achieving engineering excellence
