Reporting to the Foreman, the Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for effectively delivering the electrical portion of the project on time and to the specified quality of the client.
Key Responsibilities:
*Install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control. signals or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures and premises;
*Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts;
*Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings;
*Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors;
*Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures;
*Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment;
*Install data cabling;
*Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits;
*Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Educational Requirements:Certified Journeyman trade ticket is required (must be Red Seal if outisde of the province of Alberta)
Credentials/ Safety Requirements:CSTS is a standard requirement for all of our job sites.
Experience:5-10 years of Industrial construction experience.

*The ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time;
*Manual dexterity;
*Good sense of balance when working on scaffolds;
*The ability to solve math problems quickly and accurately;
*The ability to get along well with others on a work team;
*Must be willing to work in remote job locations;
*Must be able to pass a pre-access drug test;
*Must have a strong understanding of safety procedures and policies on an industrial job site;
