The role of the Senior Contracts Analyst is to develop and maintain contracts with midstream customers.
Assist in the development and formalization of midstream contract precedent agreements
Services related: gas handling, transportation, contract operating
Ownership related - Construction, Ownership and Operating Agreements (CO&O), confidentiality, letter of intent
Facilities related: Tie-In, scoping, facility usage, fuel and
Miscellaneous agreements
Participate in the negotiation of agreements
Advise Talisman Midstream Operations (TMO) personnel on development and use of precedent contracts
Interpret midstream agreements for TMO personnel on an inquiry basis
Participate in discussions with prospective customers re Talisman contracting policies
Investigate all legal issues related to the management of current contracts, recommend means to address issues and liaise with Legal Department to resolve issues, where necessary
Define the concerns for contracts obtained through prior acquisitions, and scope plans to address those concerns
Provide contracts support to TMO personnel
Draft contracts for review by appropriate TMO personnel on a timely basis
Develop and support business issues related to Contracts system (Quorum)
Track progress of contracts from draft to full execution
Maintain and promote TMO’s “Contract Management Process”
Maintain and administer precedent agreements
Qualifications:
A legal or business related degree/diploma with 10 years contract management experience in oil and gas industry
Petroleum Joint Venture Association Courses
Excellent writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
