Albian Sands is currently seeking a Junior Facilities & Site Services Planner for their Fort McMurray location.
Responsibilities:
Support to the Facilities Coordinator role and the Site Service Coordinator with the following duties to take care of: Scheduling and planning maintenance and facility activities including preventative maintenance Assist with Coordination of all logistics associated with Office Work Stations, Telephones, IT set-up in all JPM related facilities (20 current) Assist with Contractor LEMs, schedules, for a wide variety of Contractor workforce ranging from Custodian / Janitorial duties, Temp facilities providers (Trailer concept); structure utility arrangements for services Provide direct support to department for the transitioning from Temporary Facilities to Permanent buildings once they become ready to occupy Supporting all legislative requirements are met and kept current such as building code requirements, Fire safety, Municipal permitting and Alberta OHS codes specific to workplace facilities Responsible and accountable for interface with a lot of stakeholders involved due to heavy construction work and interest groups Working with team to mitigate business interruptions Champions Customer and Stakeholder Focus Communicates and persuades Communication and Organizing Skills Resilience and Personal Effectiveness
Requirements:
You must have legal authorization to work in Canada for any one another than current employer. 3 years preferable in a petrochemical / oil sands and construction area. Minimum of a high school diploma. Proficient in written and spoken English. Should have previous experience in Facilities Coordination; heavy/ various number of stakeholder management. Familiar with Building Design & Space Management: support of the planning, implementation and ongoing operational facility management Stakeholder Management: Manages effectively Contractors and Agreements Analyze Logistics Service Requirements Understands and Applies HSSE Standards Support Services Management
