Albian Sands is currently seeking a Facilties Coordinator for their Fort McMurray location.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all logistics associated with Office Work Stations, Telephones, IT set-up in all JPM related facilities (20 current) Responsible for managing a wide variety of Contractor workforce ranging from Custodian / Janitorial duties, Temp facilities providers (Trailer concept); structure utility arrangements for services Accountable for transitioning departments from Temporary Facilities to Permanent buildings once they become ready to occupy Ensuring all legislative requirements are met and kept current such as building code requirements, Fire Safety, Municipal permitting and Alberta OHS codes specific to workplace facilities Aligning schedules for all services providers for Utilities to facilities Responsible and accountable for interface with a lot stakeholders involved due to heavy construction works and interest groups Accountable for streamlining interfaces to ensure a flawless transition for the Workforce to mitigate business interruptions Building Design & Space Management: full process responsibility from conceptual design via planning to implementation and ongoing operational facilities support Stakeholder Management: Manages effectively Contractors and Agreements Environmental Issues - Managing Work process, ensure standards are met
Requirements:
You must have legal authorization to work in Canada for any one another than current employer. Experience in Workplace Facility set up and operations. Must have a minimum of grade 12 diploma. Minimum of 5 years experience preferable in a petrochemical / oilsands and construction area Must have previous experience in Facilities Coordination; heavy/ various number of stakeholder management.
