POSITION SUMMARY
ComSpan Communications, a facility based telecommunication, data and video provider is seeking a Regional Sales & Account Service Associate for it's Roseburg, OR location. The ComSpan Regional Sales and Account Service Associate (RSA) will be responsible in providing high quality, efficient sales, service and support to internal and external customers in multiple markets of ComSpan Communications. The RSA will partner with Billing, Sales, Technical Support and Service Operations in resolving customer issues, establishing new accounts and providing ongoing support.


Responsibilities
The RSA will provide users with basic technical support and online system training and may give direction to less senior Customer Care Representatives and Sales Associates. Key result Area: 1. Meet company objectives for exceptional customer care. 2. Meet company objectives for inside sales and up-selling to existing customers. 3. Provide customers with accurate information and on time resolutions. 4. Support Billing Functions as requested. 5. Coordinating installs for New Deployment markets. (where applicable) 6. Simplify and communicate technical information to internal and external customers. 7. Serve as an escalation point for internal and external escalations. 8. Order Entry. 9. Trouble ticketing and follow up for all ComSpan Services. 10. Travel will be required. Knowledge, skills and abilities: 1. Knowledge of the systems, products and services of the company or of a similar product set offered by communications service providers 2. Knowledge and understanding of the Company’s business objectives and goals. 3. Skills in selling data, video and telecommunications products and services 4. Knowledge of and the ability to use personal computers and related software for word processing (I.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.). 5. Skills in interpersonal communication such as the ability to respond with sensitivity and sense of urgency to customer requests and needs. 6. Skills in determining alternatives that would correct a situation. 7. Ability to use verbal communication skills to promote honest sharing of information and ideas. 8. Ability to be flexible in a stress-filled environment. 9. Ability to work cooperatively within a group to make the work of the group successful and effective.


Requirements
Education and Experience: 1. 2-4 years demonstrated customer service experience. 2. 2-4 years demonstrated sales experience. 3. High School Diploma. 4. Demonstrated understanding of billing, scheduling and database systems. 5. Computer skills including spreadsheets, presentation software, word processing and databases. 6. Effective verbal and written communications skills. Preferred Education and Experience 1. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field. 2. 5+ years of Customer Care or Sales experience. 3. 2+ years in Telecommunications, ISP or Video services


Work Conditions
This position will require travel.
