As a member of the Corporate Human Resources team, the Recruitment Coordinator plays a central role in providing recruitment support services for the recruitment team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenge and is comfortable with a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide recruitment support services to the recruitment team that is geographically distributed.
- Prepare offer letters and new hire packages for candidates.
- Become the go-to expert in our utilization of our applicant tracking system, Hire Desk. This will involve generating and running reports, creating/closing jobs, understanding system functionality to provide tip/tricks and best practices to the recruiting team.
- Post, update and delete positions to our website and various job boards/networking sites.
- Working closely with the human resources team, create weekly reports to be distributed across the company.
- Organize, create and maintain information about recruiting best practices to be shared with the team. This includes job postings, advertisements, research information and sourcing sites.
- Act as a primary contact person for inquires of individuals seeking employment with Ledcor. Respond to phone and email inquires or forward as required.
- Research and record information about University/College activities. This includes coop, new grad initiatives and campus events. Specific activities include: job posting, interview scheduling, coordinating events and schedules on campus.
- Assist the recruiting team with candidate interview logistics/coordination when required.
- Coordinate and drive the logistics for career fair attendance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position from a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Post secondary education in business and/or human resources preferred
- Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Advanced computer skills, experience with internet search and job board posting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must possess tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent customer service focus and team player
- Ability to work and make decisions independently
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards would be considered an asset
