POSITION SUMMARY

HAZCO Environmental Services is an environmental contractor specializing in environmental construction, remediation, waste management, and demolition services. We are a fast-paced, dynamic workplace whose comprehensive services are backed by corporate infrastructure, dedicated personnel, extensive project experience and specialized equipment assets. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join our Edmonton, AB team.




The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, coaching, and mentoring all Field Service Technicians in Edmonton. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:






    • Develop and mentor field staff to ensure they understand their role in relation to the operations group

    • Develop the group to be an efficient and productive team

    • Assign and supervise daily activities of the staff

    • Monitor work for safety, efficiency and accuracy

    • Structure and coordinate the Field Technicians weekly activities

    • Coordinate the Field Service Technicians to ensure timely completion of bone yard inventories, project work and site visits

    • Develop and supervise the development of the field services clients, staff and service

    • Work with individuals on their personal development and client objectives for the year



This position requires a Technical diploma or degree related to environmental hazardous Waste Management or and/or experience in Environmental Waste Services. An ideal candidate will be effective in an unstructured, dynamic environment and possess excellent time management, organization and administrative skills. In addition, a desired candidate will have supervisory experiences with the ability to delegate assignments and develop staff. Preferences will be given to candidates who can illustrate their knowledge and understanding of industry regulations such as TDG, Guide 55 & 58, and relevant federal and provincial regulations. In addition, preference will be given to those with a working knowledge of the oil and gas industry and knowledge of the oilfield waste market with a strong and diversified oil and gas knowledge base.
