POSITION SUMMARY

Ledcor’s Civil Mining and Infrastructure (CMI) group is seeking a Project Coordinator for a project based position in Fort McMurray.

Working with the project team, the Project Coordinator will coordinate and assist operations staff in all aspects of the infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Tracking and coordination of project milestones and financial deadlines
  • Ensuring quality requirements surpassed throughout the project
  • Ongoing adherance to Sustainability initiative throughout the project
  • Assists with the tendering and awarding of subcontracted work or supply of materials
  • Assists in the review of subcontract documents and subcontract inquiries
  • Submits change requests to the owner/consultant for approval
  • Coordinates and manages all project documentation including change orders, RFIs, progress reports
  • Other duties as required
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Diploma or Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years relevant industry experience
  • Earthworks experience an asset
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, HCSS, P3/P5, AutoCAD
Work Conditions
  • Must be willing to stay in camp on a 21 days on and 7 days off shift.
