Ledcor’s Civil Mining and Infrastructure (CMI) group is seeking a Project Coordinator for a project based position in Fort McMurray.
Working with the project team, the Project Coordinator will coordinate and assist operations staff in all aspects of the infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Tracking and coordination of project milestones and financial deadlines
- Ensuring quality requirements surpassed throughout the project
- Ongoing adherance to Sustainability initiative throughout the project
- Assists with the tendering and awarding of subcontracted work or supply of materials
- Assists in the review of subcontract documents and subcontract inquiries
- Submits change requests to the owner/consultant for approval
- Coordinates and manages all project documentation including change orders, RFIs, progress reports
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management Diploma or Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years relevant industry experience
- Earthworks experience an asset
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, HCSS, P3/P5, AutoCAD
Work Conditions
- Must be willing to stay in camp on a 21 days on and 7 days off shift.
