POSITION SUMMARY


CCS Corporation is currently looking for 1 permanent full-time Desktop Support Analyst II - in our Edmonton Regional Office (Acheson) office supporting our Information Technolog.




This position is responsible for the timely resolution of service requests and incidents that originate from users of CCS Corporation. This person will work with a team of individuals lead by the Desktop Service Team Lead. Provide support and solutions for head office production, scanning, printing, other media; ensuring Service Level Agreements are met; ensuring continuous improvement and follow-up with end users; providing 24/7 and on-call support as required. As well, this position will be directly responsible for the following;




Investigate incidents that are submitted to the helpdesk and properly document the issue in the helpdesk system.


Provide support for issues that are related to the desktop configuration based on hardware, operating system or desktop applications.


Imaging and deploying desktops/laptops to users.


Conduct equipment maintenance/warranty returns including RMA’s and various other equipment repairs.


Work with level I staff to produce the image and is involved in testing and QA.


Provide expertise and project management for deployments and office moves.


Familiar with ITIL concepts and is diligent in following the processes that are implemented.


Organization and continuous inventory of IT workspaces, shipping and receiving of desktop/laptop equipment


Provide architectural input into the design of the corporate desktop image.




Qualifications:




University Degree with 2 years experience.


Technical Diploma with 4 years related experience.


In-depth knowledge of PC Hardware and IT related equipment.


High degree of troubleshooting skills and experience.


Committed to excellent and continuous improvement.


Requires less supervision; Is assigned more responsibility on larger projects or tasks;


Masters routine tasks while being involved in increasingly more complex assignments;




Your strengths include strong leadership skills, communication (both written and verbal), ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as the ability to work as a team player, impeccable attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize and a strong willingness to learn.
