Reporting to the Facilities Lead Engineer, the responsibilities of the Facilities Engineer include, but are not limited to the following:
•Design and coordinate the construction of facilities and supporting infrastructure for the enhanced oil recovery programs, focusing on quality control, scheduling and budget; •Project work will include the design, construction and documentation for the following; oPackaged process equipment oPositive displacement and multistage horizontal pumping systems oFluid distribution systems and storage facilities oMetering and injection facilities; •Work with production and facilities groups (office and field) to troubleshoot, optimize and upgrade existing facilities supporting the enhanced oil recovery programs; and •Adhering to applicable regulatory bodies such as ERCB, and ABSA.
Qualifications: •Degree in Engineering with at least 10-15 year’s experience in the design and construction of oil and gas production facilities; •A strong background in piping systems, packaged equipment and controls; •Knowledge and understanding of fluid handling and fluid distribution systems; •Highly analytical, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills; •Proven team player with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships while demonstrating a high level of cooperation and mutual respect; •Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects concurrently; and •Proficiency in spreadsheets and engineering software applications.
