POSITION SUMMARY

Ledcor Industrial Maintenance is currently searching for a Project Coordinator to be based in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities

Coordination and scheduling of subcontractors on a long-term maintenance contract for a major pipeline/energy client. Ledcor’s scope in this innovative contract involves managing a large network of subcontractors across multiple disciplines in order to perform maintenance and project work on pipelines and related facilities and infrastructure.

Accountabilities:
Research of appropriate subcontractor needs, prequalification of subcontractors to ensure that contractual and safety requirements are adhered to, record-keeping in a leading database and communication to subcontractors coordinate the work. Direct interface with the client includes receiving the project scope, communicating of schedule details and providing ongoing effort to ensure their needs are met to satisfaction.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience in a similar role in project coordination, subcontract administration, dispatch, or logistics is preferred. Post-secondary education in a relevant field will be considered an asset. Both experienced and entry-level candidates will be considered.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. A strong computer background including experience with programs such as Word and Excel would be an asset. Candidates should possess multitasking and organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
