Ledcor Industrial Maintenance, a subsidiary of Ledcor Pipelines, is currently searching for a part-time Junior Project Coordinator to be based in our Cornwall, Ontario office. This position will begin as a part-time role and has the potential to develop into a full-time position.The Junior Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for providing Clerical and Administrative support to the entire team.
Responsibilities
• Provide general administrative support including preparation of correspondence and meeting minutes, distribution of mail, and coordination of travel.•Coordinating Alcohol & Drug testing requirements.• Processing insurance, safety and contractual documents, and entering this information into our subcontractor database. • Assisting in communication to subcontractors by gathering data in Excel and creating reports, mail merges and/or mass faxes.• General office organizational duties, such as tracking of office inventory, computer and phone equipment, ordering supplies, and ensuring all office needs are met.• Duties may be range from clerical tasks such as manual filing and photocopying to higher level administrative projects such as assisting in the creation of procedural documents and client presentations.•Assisting in the coordination of vehicle requirements and in the close out of rentals. Performing monthly vehicle expense invoice reconciliation against pre-approved amounts.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have completed High school, with some relevant post secondary education, and will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar office role. Candidates should have the following attributes:• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.• Effective multitasking and organizational ability.• Strong computer background including significant experience with programs such as Word and Excel. The ability to work with databases, Powerpoint and Adobe software and to learn new computer programs would also be an asset.• Able to work with little supervision at times, while performing well in a team environment on a daily basis.
