Summary of Duties:

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, the Financial Accounting Analyst will provide primary support for monthly financial statement preparation and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and compliance with Corporate month-end reporting requirements


• Assist with project to implement IFRS and internal controls rationalization


• Assist with the preparation of annual budget and monthly cash forecast


• Assist in the preparation of internal/external financial reporting documents


• Participate in ERP and Financial systems upgrade and modifications as required and perform other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accounting designation program (CGA or CMA)


• Experience with an accounting software a must; ERP system experience an asset


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Good interpersonal and communication skills
