Summary of Duties: Reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Branch.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate field projects, manpower, vehicles and equipment
- Co-ordinate new hires, manpower allocation and crew transfers
- Supervise electricians within the area
- Review and process all paperwork (work tickets, purchase orders, etc.)
- Handle customer calls and respond to inquiries for the area
- Follow up on all tenders issued and inquiries received
- Co-ordinate safety program on behalf of the Branch
- Co-ordinate with Regional Manager and manage expansion within Region.
- Assist with budgetary process and review monthly financial statements for the Branch
- Assist Regional Manager with marketing and business development for the area
- Communicate corporate decisions and policies to all personnel
- Support other Branches within Region
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience in the oil and gas industry, knowledge of the electrical and instrumentation field, trade certificate would be an asset
- Previous management experience would be an asset
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills
- Self motivated and able to lead a team in a changing environment
- Computer literate
