Summary of Duties: The Project Manager/Engineer conducts, oversees, and manages the engineering, design, and completion of both projects and proposals. The focus is on adherence to schedule and budget, while ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved and all project deliverables are met.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all technical, commercial, and fabrication requirements, from initiation to closeout, on assigned projects and proposals in accordance with internal processes.
- Concurrent management of multiple projects and proposals.
- Initiate, prepare, oversee, and / or maintain all required deliverables (both technical and project related).
- Manage all project and proposal communications, risks, issues, and changes.
- Monitor and report on project status.
- Mentor junior project engineers and project team members.
- Travel to site locations to verify scope and / or provide commissioning and startup support on a required basis.
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) or more years experience in the oil and gas industry (preferably in operations or design).
- Working knowledge of amine sweetening, glycol dehydration, hydrocarbon recovery, hydrocarbon fractionation, and dew point control processes as well as related equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work closely with all internal / external stakeholders.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to perform successfully with limited supervision.
