At Canadian Natural Resources Limited, we are proud of the achievements of our people. Our efforts have led us to become a leading senior oil and gas exploration and production company.
Horizon Oil Sands, north of Fort McMurray, is an exciting part of our growth. Horizon Oil Sands operations started in February 2005 and after years of planning and construction, the Horizon Oil Sands successfully and sustainably produced its first barrels of high quality, sweet synthetic crude oil (SCO) in early 2009. First production of SCO was a major milestone for Canadian Natural and we are very pleased with the success of the project. With Phase 1 production capacity of 110,00 bpd, this is just the first step in value creation. Looking to the future, our assets support 232,000 – 250,000 barrels per day of light, sweet, crude oil production for over 40 years, with no production declines.
At Canadian Natural, we believe all employees should share in the company’s success.
We offer a competitive compensation package comprised of the following: • Base salary, stock options upon hire, stock savings plan • Annual compensation review • Fort McMurray location premium and transportation subsidy • Company benefits • Company assistance in rental or home ownership in Fort McMurray for 60 months from date of hire
