Kinetic Projects is currently seeking a Trades Recruiter. The Trades Recruiter will be required to establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future trades hiring and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
  Perform searches for qualified candidates, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, employee referrals, and recruiting firms.

• 
  
  Management of the Hire Ground database.

• 
  
  Screen applicants, obtain information on work history, education and job skills, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and schedule drug tests.

• 
  
  Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization.

• 
  
  Prepare paperwork for hiring of applicants and maintain employee records.

• 
  
  Arrange new hire orientations, ensure paperwork is completed correctly.

• 
  
  Provide travel arrangements as necessary.

• 
  
  Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and legislation associated with the trades, Merit and human rights.

Experience & Educational Qualifications:

• 
  
  Post secondary degree (CHRP designation) or certificate in HR Management or a related discipline is preferred.

• 
  
  A minimum of five years of experience in recruiting trade personnel.
