Branch Manager - Nisku (Syntech)
Job Purpose: Reports to the Western Regional Manager, the Branch Manager is primarily responsible to manage the day-to-day operations of the Branch. Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities: • Manage the day-to-day operations in the Branch • Co-ordinate field projects, manpower, vehicles and equipment • Co-ordinate new hires, manpower allocation and crew transfers • Supervise electricians and instrument technicians within the area • Review and process all paperwork (work tickets, purchase orders, etc.) • Handle customer calls and respond to inquiries for the area • Follow up on all tenders issued and inquiries received • Co-ordinate safety program on behalf of the Branch • Co-ordinate and maintain ISO 9001:2000 Quality System for the Branch • Co-ordinate with Regional Manager and manage expansion within Region. • Assist with budgetary process and review monthly financial statements for the Branch • Assist Regional Manager with marketing and business development for the area • Communicate corporate decisions and policies to all personnel • Support other Branches within Region
Qualifications: • Five (5) years experience in the oil and gas industry, knowledge of the electrical and instrumentation field, trade certificate would be an asset • Previous management experience would be an asset • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills • Self motivated and able to lead a team in a changing environment • Computer literate
Wage or Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and education.
