Ledcor Industrial Maintenance is responsible for maintaining a conventional oil and gas processing facility in Norman Wells, NWT. The scope of this project includes service and maintenance of production and injection wells, ground up construction, operations management and facilities maintenance.
This is a long term contract to provide maintenance services to our client. We are looking for committed individuals, who are want to become part of the Norman Wells team and are interested in a long term career with Ledcor.
The positions are rotational in nature (24 days in 10 days out) and camp accommodations are provided.
Responsibilities
Applicants will be performing maintenance and repairs on pump jacks, several years experience working on pumpjacks is required. The work will be both indoors and outdoors, and it may be physically demanding.
Applicants should have Industrial Maintenance experience, preferably in the oil and gas setting. Applicants should be able to: - perform heavy lifting
- work at various heights
- perform duties without direct supervision
- communicate and understand instructions
- work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
Applicants MUST have several years experience working on Pump Jacks doing maintenance and repairs, prefer applicants with more than 5 years. Experience in Industrial Maintenance required, with preference given to those applicants with several years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Please provide examples and or explanation of experience with pumpjacks. - Mandatory CSTS Training
- Current Standard or Emergency First Aid
- Current WHMIS from the past year
- Respiratory training
- Basic Fire Fighting Training
- Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol test
- Fall Arrest
- Confined Space Training
- Acceptable Driver's Abstract
- Provision of Labour-related hours
Work Conditions
- Work is both outdoors and indoors
- Extreme cold/hot conditions; dust
- Work may involve heavy lifting and work at various heights
- May involve climbing
- May include entering confined space
- Use of power tools
- Transport via helicopter and boat
